ADMISSION, COURSES & CURRICULUM
The institute follows a structured curriculum with regulated exams conducted by recognised boards.
Both Hindustani Classical and Rabindra Sangeet are structured into 6 year courses - Foundation year and Year Groups 1 to 5.
Upon admission, students will be placed in a particular year group based on merit and will progress to the subsequent year groups based on succesful completion and passing the examination of the concerned year group.
Necessary course material for the respective year groups will be made available by the institute. Provision of musical instruments are not part of the course material and have to be bought by the students based on recommendation of the teacher.
Aim of the institute is to spread the knowledge of these music forms at an affordable cost. The fees are kept at a minimum to cover the administrative costs and the fees of the professional teachers.
The fees should be paid in advance for each term of 4 months. Please get in touch to know the fees for the concerned course and year group.
Fees do not include provision of musical instruments, are not transferable or refundable.
Interested students will be assessed based on which they will be placed in a suitable grade from foundation to Year 5. Decision of the teacher in this regard will be binding. Admission in a particular year group is irrespective of the age or academic qualification of the candidate and is solely based on his / her musical skills.
Students are welcome to join at any point based on availability of seats in a particular batch. However, they can sit in exams only after completion of 6 months in their respective grade and based on recommendation of the teacher.
